NIN Launches BitTorrent Tracker for New Release

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Moving as a geek

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

One of the biggest problem a geek faces while moving is the constant interruptions of network connectivity (sigh). And even work some times your temporary lodging has really dodgy wifi (The Inns @ Davis Monthan AFB). Luckily using a BlackBerry 8330 w/ Bluetooth tethering enabled has saved me.

Hotel pings to my Datacenter: 1200ms
VZB pings to my Datacenter (CELLULAR): 220ms

Seriously… that’s just sad. When my cell stomps out your “broadband” connection.

Epic win for VZB however, though it’s not a surprise as they really do have the best network.
